Dearest Readers
January 9th, 2007So sorry to have been away so long. . .2006 was a difficult year for my family as my husband was diagnosed with Graves Disease and we moved 1200 miles to St. Louis. I hope to get my blog back up and running this year and will be delighted to hear from my old blogging friends!
Thank you, Jacque!
March 6th, 2006Finally Finished–Spring Purse Swap!
March 6th, 2006Finally finished my spring swap purse for Crochetville. I used this pattern and my silk city bounce cone in merde (green):

It took me a long time ’cause the yarn is thin, but I think it turned out pretty well, especially since I’ve never made a purse before. I hand sewed the lining out of brocade, and matched the flowers on the front to the lining:
I love a man in uniform. . .
February 3rd, 2006We really enjoyed our visit with my brother Matthew over New Year’s. He brought Jake and baby both a sailor hat. I think baby looks so cute in this picture!
I am working on crocheting Drew the Crochet Dude’s Chic on the Halfshell purse. Also getting started on the Crochetville spring purse swap and hopefully a stop on the journey of the Travelling Hook. Should be a busy couple of weeks for me and my yarn stash! I’ll post pics. . .
13 Going on 30
January 18th, 2006Well, I’m offically as of yesterday thirty years old. It’s wierd to think of your life encapsulated, the past thirty years gone by and most of them spent growing up. Now what do you do? I’ve decided to live happily, to leave the struggles of the past behind and keep looking forward. I’ve got everything a girl could want, and I am so thankful. Happy Birthday (yesterday) to me!
